Day 1: Arrive Paro.
Flight into Paro with Druk Air, Bhutan National Airline . The flight takes you over the great Himalayan ranges , offering the most beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains and lush valleys. As you enter Paro valley, you will see the Paro Dzong (Fort), the National Museum and the Paro town. Transfer to hotel . Check in and later Lunch .
After lunch, a short excursion to Dzongdrakha monastery . Evening Return to hotel Dinner and overnight at Hotel .

Day 2.  Excursion to Taktsang Monastery, visit historical places. 
Following breakfast, drive 10km north through the beautiful valley of Paro and hike to Taktsang (tiger’s Den) monastery hanging on a cliff 800m above the valley. In the 8th century Guru Rimpoche flew here on the back of a tigress in one of his eight forms called Guru Dorje Drolo and meditated for 3 months in a cave and converted Paro valley into Buddhism. Later in the 17th century, the 4th temporal ruler of Bhutan Tenzin Rabgye built this present temple and named it Taktsang meaning; tiger’s lair in the same spot where Guru meditated. This temple is one of the most sacred and also a pilgrimage centre for Buddhists from all over the world. Overnight at hotel

Day 03. Trekking starts Trek: National Museum  -  Jele Dzong Altitude: 3,350m, Distance: 10 km. Time about 5 hours. 
Following breakfast, drive to trek starting point . Follow the farm road that goes through villages and apple orchards. The trail ascends gradually through the forest of chir pine, spruce; silver fir etc to the camp below Jele dzong (fort). If weather permits, Paro valley can be seen with views of snow-capped mountains behind.  Overnight in tent.

Day 04.  Jele Dzong  -  Jangchulakha Altitude: 3550m, Distance: 10km. Time: 6 hours.
After breakfast, Start climb; past the Jele Dzong , following the ridge and enter the thick forest of junipers. The trail then takes you through thick temperate forests and rhododendron trees. You may see yak herders around your campsite.  Overnight in tent. 

Day 05.  Jangchulakha  -  Jimilangtsho Distance 11km and takes about 5 hours. (alt. 3650m) 
The trail follows the ridge making many ups and downs and is said to be long and bit challenging. On a clear day, there are beautiful views of the mountains and the valleys. 

Day 06.  Jimilangtsho – Simkotra Tsho. Overnight in Camp
After breakfast, start gradual climb past several false summits and arrive to Lake Junetsho. Stop for lunch here and continue uphill for another 2 hours until you arrive to the camp area above the lake Simkotra.

Day 07. Simkotra Tsho- Thimphu.
It is another long climb past several false summits, then a long rocky traverse to a group of cairns atop Labana pass at 4210m. The trail descends gently and traverses above a broad valley to another crest. Along this stretch of trail, there are great views of Dochula and Mt. Jomolhari and other mountains. Another long traverse leads to a crest and the trail drops and crosses a final ridge called Phumela pass at 4080m. If Weather permits , can see stunning views of the highest mountain in Bhutan (Mt. Gangkhar Puensum) and other Himalayan peaks. Descend downhill on a maze of eroded trail through Juniper and rhododendron bushes, past Phajoding monastery and continue downhill through an area forested with blue pine. Arrive Motithang (above Thimphu) in about 1.5 hours. Meet our representative and drive to hotel for lunch. Rest of the time on your own . Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 08. Thimphu sightseeing  
Enjoy full day of sightseeing that includes Buddha Point , Memorial Chorten,  Changangkha Lhakhang , Mini Zoo , Sangaygang view point, Nunnery , National Library,  Handicrafts Emporiums, National Institute for Zorig Chusum (thirteen traditional arts & crafts) , Traditional medicine Institute Tashichhodzong , traditional weaving centre , at the industrial estate at Changzamtog, Bhutanese paper factory and philatelic emporium , Craft Bazzar.  Overnight at hotel . 

Day 09.  Drive to Paro
Following breakfast, drive to Paro for next 02 hrs . At Paro visit national museum, Paro dzong, the 7th century temple and rest of the time for shopping. Overnight at the hotel. 
Day 10 Final Departure 
Following breakfast, drive to airport for your return flight. Farewell and wish you safe journey back home.
