Day 1 : Kathmandu (D)
Arrival , meet and transfer to hotel . Evening welcome dinner at typical Nepali traditional style restaurant with Nepalese meal and Nepalese folk cultural dance shows representing all parts of Nepal like ; Tharu Dance from south or terrain region , Gurung dance/Tamang dance from hilly region and Sherpa dance from Himalayan region . Overnight at Dwarika’s Hotel .
Day 2 : Kathmandu ( 5-6 hrs excursion tour ) (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Start your visit with Pashupatinath Temple ( a hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva . one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. It lies 5 km. east of the city on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River ) . Continue Visit to Boudhanath ( This is the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world located east of the valley. It was built by the Lichchhavi King Mana Dev in the 5th century A.D. The Rinpoches who reside here have established Boudhanath as one of the most flourishing centers of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. The colossal ancient stupa is 36 meters high). Our another destination is Swoyambhunath Stupa (Atop a green hillock west of Kathmandu,stands the great stupa of Swayambhunath. This is a site that is over 2500 years old marking the point where the legendary patriarch Manjushri discovered the lotus of the ancient valley lake. For centuries an important centre of Buddhist leaving, the painted eyes of the Buddhist gaze out from all four sides of this monument). Visit Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square/Kathmandu Durbar Square (one of the popular places liked by many visitors due to its exquisite architecture and artistic embellishment. The complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built in 1200 to 1768 A.D. with hundreds of erotic carvings used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu which epitomizes the religions and cultural life of the people). Day 3 : Kathmandu to Bandipur ( 120 km – 4-5 hrs ) (B)
Breakfast and start journey to Bandipur . On the way we enjoy Manakamana Temple (symbolized as the goddess to fulfil the wishes ) by Cable car ride . Our journey continue until we reach to Bandipur (It is a fantastic example of traditional Newari culture, and the town itself seems completely untouched by modernisation. The town has some wonderful 18th Century architecture, numerous temples and incredible expanse of the Marsyanngdi river valley also offers a breathtaking sweep of the Himalayan range ) . Overnight at hotel at Old Inn in Bandipur.
Day 4 : Bandipur to Pokhara ( 100 km 2-3 hrs ) (B)
After breakfast we start our drive to Pokhara (is the place of glorious and unique natural beauty in Nepal. The most serene environment in the city is Fewa Lake. The image of the snow-clad mountain peaks that falls in the tranquil water creating an ambience of peace and magic) . Upon arrival check in at hotel . After refreshment we proceed for Boat ride on fewa lake . After boat ride we enjoy evening at lake side street . Overnight at Temple Tree Resort in Pokhara .
Day 5 : Pokhara (B)
Early morning drive to Sarangkot for sunrise view with awesome Himalayas views . Later back to hotel for breakfast . In the afternoon we hike to World Peace Pagoda on a hillock ( an hour walk from base of Fewa lake ) . Also we are visiting Davi’s Falls , Gupteswor Mahadev Cave . Evening back to Hotel and Overnight at Temple Tree Resort in Pokhara .
Day 6 : Pokhara to Palpa to Lumbini ( 200 km 6-7 hrs ) (B)
After breakfast we journey starts and we enjoy drive to palpa (palpa was the place of Sen Kingdom that rules over the region from 16th B.c. for almost 300 yrs . Palpa has diverse culture and religion. Palpa is famous for shopping of and is located in the twelve magar regions of west Nepal . Thus it has predominantly Magar Culture but people from other culture like Brahaman , Chhetri , Newar , Tharu , Gurung , Mathali , Tamang , Limbu abd badhi are living here . Good place for shopping of Famous Nepalese handicrafts ) . Continue our Drive to Lumbini (The birthplace of Lord Buddha . The broken Ashoka pillar, remnants of an old monastery and images of Buddha’s mother Maya Devi are still preserved there ). Visit Mayadevi Temple , Birth place of Buddha and back to hotel . Overnight at Hotel Buddhamaya Garden in Lumbini .
Day 7 : Lumbini to Kathmandu ( 220 km 7-8 hrs ) (B)
Breakfast at hotel . Drive back to Kathmandu . Evening upon arrival check in at hotel . Enjoy rest of the time on your own . Overnight at Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu .
Day 8 : Final Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel . Transfer to airport and wish you for safe journey with sweet memories and back to your home.
