Gosaikund Trekking ( Days)

Gosaikunda Trekking starts drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche. This Gosaikund Trekking passes through forests, villages of Tamang and Sherpa people. Gosaikunda is a famous pilgrimage destination of Hindu and Buddhist people. During full moon night in August thousands of travellers go to Gosaikunda for holy bath. There are 108 different lakes around this area. The Gosaikund Trekking trail goes to Tharepati via the Laurebinayak Pass. The Gosaikund Trekking trail Trail passes through villages, yak pastures, largest mani wall in Nepal ( made from stone with prayers written on them ). We visit KanjinGompa. Kyanjin Gompa is surrounded by the Himalayas and can take walk around KanjinGompa enjoying the views of glaciers, icefalls, birds and yaks. Gosaikunda trekking offers wonderful views of Himalayas, beautiful water falls, rhododendron & pine forests, visit to Cheese Factory, visit of monasteries. You can see the life style, culture  customs and festivals of  Tamang and Sherpa people. The gosaikunda trekking area is famous for various herbal medicinal plans as well.

Day 01:
Arrival , Meet and transfer to hotel . Check in at hotel and Overnight at hotel .
 
Day 02: 
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing covering Swayambhunath , Kathmandu Durbar Square and Boudhanath .Rest of the time for trek preparation.Evening briefing by our trekking guide in Hotel. Overnight at hotel  .

Day 03:  Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 145 km/ 7 hrs (BLD)
After breakfast drive to Syabrubesi . Overnight at hotel .

Day 04:  Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft) (6 hrs) (BLD)
Following breakfast start trek to Lama hotel with view of LangtangKhola River , dense forests , suspension bridges and more . Overnight at hotel .

Day 05:  Trek to Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft) ( 6 - 7 hr) (BLD)
Breakfast and continue our steady climb up through the valley . Enjoy incredible views of LangtangLirung.  Dinner and overnight at hotel .

Day 06:  Trek to KyanjinGompa (3,870m/12,697ft)  (3 -4 hr) (BLD)
After breakfast start trek and trail passes through villages, yak pastures , largest mani wall in Nepal ( made from stone with prayers written on them ) .KanjinGompa is surrounded by the Himalayas and can take walk around KanjinGompa enjoying the views of glaciers, icefalls, birds and yaks.

Day 7: Trek to Lama Hotel (2340m ) (BLD)
Breakfast and start trek to Lama Hotel . Enjoy walk through villages , forests , valleys and rivers . Arrive at Lamahotel . Dinner and Stay at hotel . 

Day 8: Trek to Thulo Syabru Village (1,900m) (BLD)
We continue our trek to Thulo Syabru passing through bamboo and rhododendron forests .  You can see wild animals too . Enjoy closest views of  Ganesh Himal . Arrive and overnight stay at Thulo Syabru.

Day 9 : Trek to Sing Gompa (3330m) (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel. Start trek through pine and rhododendron forests . We continue our walk mostly  climbing to uphill .  Arrival at hotel . Enjoy visiting cheese factory in Sing Gompa . Dinner and overnight at hotel . 

Days 10: Trek to Gosainkunda Lake (4380m) (BLD)
Start trek to Holy Lake Gosaikunda passing through Cholagpati and Lauribinayak. Though You have bit steepy climb , you will enjoy nice views of landscape . The village of Tamangs and Bhotias and their life style attracts you more . You can visit around villages and stay at Gosaikund . 

Days 11:  Full Day exploring Gosainkunda lake (BLD)
You can make hike to lauribinayak pass and also Walk around saraswati lake, Bhairabkunda lake and gosainkunda lake. Enjoy spectacular Himalayan views of Annapurna, Langtang and Ganesh himal range. 

Day 12: Gosainkunda to Dhunche 4hrs walk (BLD)
Breakfast and start descend down to Sing Gompa and continue trek down through pine and rhododendron forest , bamboo bushes and river .Arrive at Dhunche , District headquarter of Rasuwa and  overnight at hotel . 

Day 13 :  Drive Back to KTM (BL)
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival  transfer to hotel. Day rest on your own . Enjoy shopping in local handicraft market . Evening farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant with cultural show and overnight at hotel .

Day 14 :  Final Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel . Transfer to airport and  Wish you safe journey back to your home
